Natalie Gershtein Joins Leadership Team of Pipeline Theater Company

Natalie Gershtein ’15, is joining the leadership team of the Pipeline Theatre Company as a producing director.

Pipeline, a non-profit theatre company based in downtown Manhattan, produces full-length plays, one-acts and short films. “I have never felt more aligned with a company in terms of values, goals, and artistic ambition,” Gershtein said. “Pipeline says YES to big, crazy ideas and has cultivated a community of artists that inspire me on a daily basis. I’m honored to join the team.”

Gershtein first worked with Pipeline last year as the producer of The Gray Man. Prior to becoming its producing director, she served as associate director ofYoung Playwrights Inc., founded by Stephen Sondheim. She has worked at several festivals in New York City, including the 27th Annual Festival of New Musicals with NAMTCherry Lane Theatre’s 2015 Mentor Project, the Public Theater’s 2014 and 2015 Under the Radar Festivals, and the 2013 Lincoln Center Festival. Gershtein also served as the line producer for the Actors Fund’s 10th anniversary reunion concert of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the original Broadway cast. She sometimes moonlights as a director, and is also the co-founder and artistic producer of Beautiful City Theatre in Montreal.
