'Green', by Alumni Suzanne Andrews Correa '17 and Mustafa Kaymak ‘17 Selected as Semi-FInalist at the NBCU Short Film Festival

Green, co-written & directed by Suzanne Andrews Correa '17, and co-written & produced by Mustafa Kaymak '17 was selected as semi-finalist for the NBCU Short Film Festival. It was also awarded a Caucus Foundation Student Production Grant, and will screen at the Vancouver International Film Festival later this month. Alumnus Nicolás Becerra '18 served as the film's assistant director, alumnus Mark Castillo '17 was the line producer and alumna Pınar Yorgancıoğlu '16 was the editor.
In Green, “An undocumented Turkish pedicab driver unwittingly draws police attention, endangering his brother, his community, and himself,” according to the film’s official Facebook page.
Suzanne Andrews Correa is a filmmaker from Brooklyn, NY who was recently selected for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab to develop her feature film The Huntress. Correa is also a recipient of The Princess Grace Foundation award and has worked in the New York film industry for over a decade.
Mustafa Kaymak is a producer and screenwriter from Turkey. Kaymak was a co-producer on Nocturne in Black, written and directed by alumnus Jimmy Keyrouz '16, which won several awards including the Student Academy Award and BAFTA/LA Student Film Award for Best Short Film.
