The title, Born Into This, is borrowed from a poem by Charles Bukowski, which speaks to the impossibly beautiful, but futile conditions that each of us are born into. 

Many of the photographs in this show are figural. Photographs without the human figure, bear witness to the materials we use while living - and the stuff we leave behind. 

Venezuelan born, legendary folk singer, Yva Las Vegass will perform during the opening. A performance that should not be missed.
