Willard Spiegelman

Willard Spiegelman is the Hughes Professor of English (Emeritus) at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. For thirty-two years (1984-2016) he was also the editor-in-chief of the Southwest Review. He is the author of ten books of literary criticism and personal essays, the most recent of which is Nothing Stays Put: The Life and Poetry of Amy Clampitt (Knopf). A frequent contributor to the Arts pages of The Wall Street Journal, he lives in Stonington, Connecticut and New York City.
