Mollye Asher
Mollye Asher is an Oscar-winning producer based in NYC, best known for her Searchlight film, Nomadland, which won three Academy Awards including Best Picture. The film marked her third collaboration with director Chloé Zhao. Her other notable credits include the Spirit Award-nominated Catch the Fair One (IFC Films), Swallow (IFC, Gotham Award nominee), The Rider (Cannes winner, Gotham Best Picture, Sony Pictures Classics), Fort Tilden (SXSW Grand Jury Prize, Orion), She’s Lost Control (Spirit Award nominee), and Zhao’s debut Songs My Brothers Taught Me (Sundance, Cannes, Kino Lorber). Recently, she executive produced Andrea Arnold’s Bird (Cannes, MUBI) and produced Sony Pictures Classics, On Swift Horses (TIFF) starring Jacob Elordi and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
Mollye won the 2020 Independent Spirit Producers Award and was featured in Variety's 2021 NY Women’s Impact Report. She is a member of the Academy and an NYU graduate film alumna.
