In June Park

In June Park is a painter currently based in New York. He investigates the role of the painter as a nervous observer. Working through slow acrylic layers, his canvases contain stains that contemplate both formal and emotional qualities of time, space, and color. He received his BFA in Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA in Visual Arts at Columbia University. He has exhibited internationally in galleries and spaces, including Mezzanine Studios (UK), Sk Gallery (New York), Automat Collective (Philadelphia), Subtitled NYC (New York) and Espacio Azul Petroléo (Chile), among others.
