Christina Choe

Christina Choe is an award winning writer/director. Her debut feature Nancy premiered at Sundance in the 2018 U.S. Dramatic Competition, winning the Waldo Salt Best Screenplay Award. The film stars Andrea Riseborough, Steve Buscemi, Ann Dowd, John Leguizamo, and J. Smith-Cameron; and was produced in partnership with EON Productions' Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Nancy was also nominated at the Independent Spirit Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress. The film was named one of the "Best Films of the Year" by Indiewire, The Village Voice, and The A/V Club. Other work includes a personal docu-series Welcome to the DPRK, about her trip to North Korea, which was produced by Topic Studios, garnering over +1 million views. Her award winning student films, The Queen and I Am John Wayne were both featured on Vimeo’s staff picks, screening at multiple film festivals (Telluride, Aspen, SXSW, and Slamdance).

Choe has since directed several episodes of television, including the Emmy Award-winning hit series The Handmaid's Tale, Jordan Peele's reboot of The Twilight Zone and Golden Globe-winning series The Act. She has also developed and sold projects with studios including Amazon MGM’s Orion Pictures, Paramount Players, LuckyChap Productions, and Topic Studios.
