Chad B. Hamilton

Chad B. Hamilton is a filmmaker based in New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA. He holds a BA in Film & Video from The University of The Arts and an MFA in Film from Columbia University. His thesis film Way Back Home is the recipient of the 2023 Columbia University Film MFA Production Grant, 2023 Dean's Grant, and is supported by the ASCAP Foundation. To Fade Away, co-written by Chad, won the 2023 Alfred P. Sloan Production Grant and 2024 BAFTA Yugo Short Film Commissioning Grant. His goal is to make entertaining and thought provoking work focused around marginalized communities, particularly through the African-American lens.
