Trent Pollard joined the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs in 2018. Before serving in his current role, he was the Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs and the Artists’ Resource Center. He is an alum of the School of the Arts Writing Program, where he studied Nonfiction. Previously he received an MFA from North Carolina State University and a BA from Bennington College. His poems and essays can be found in Lambda Literary, The North American Review, The Critical Flame, Passages North, and Plenitude among other publications. A selection of his poems was set to music by composer Elizabeth Kelly and performed at the University of Nottingham as part of Memorious Magazine’s artsong contest.
