Jonathan Dee is the author of five novels: The Privileges, Palladio, St. Famous, The Liberty Campaign, and The Lover of History. He is a staff writer at The New York Times Magazine, a frequent contributor to Harper’s, and a former senior editor of The Paris Review. He has also taught in the graduate writing programs at New York University, the New School, and elsewhere.
Donald Antrim published his third novel, The Verificationist, in 2000 with Knopf. The story follows Tom and his fellow psychologists at the Krakower Institute for their biannual pancake supper, where Tom experiences an out of body experience after attempting to start a food fight. It was a New York Times Book Review Notable Book of the Year, where Antrim was praised for his "cruelly cheerful inventiveness."
