Three Alumni Open New Brooklyn Gallery

Dana Lok ’15, Victoria Roth ’14 and August Vollbrecht ’15 participated in In the Mix, the inaugural exhibition at Brooklyn’s new Hometown Gallery. The exhibit, which opened in February and closed in April, consisted of eight works by seven artists.

According to the exhibition press release, Lok contributed “a probing set of essentialized imagery in charcoal,” Vollbrecht “a weighty and varied abstract composition on canvas” and Roth “a dynamically charged encounter of intertwining forms painted on canvas.”

Lok also exhibited recently at Miguel Abreu Gallery and Room East Gallery in New York. You can view more of her work here.
