Visual Arts Faculty and Alumni featured in the latest issue of Art in America (November 2011).

Faculty Jon Kessler and alum Mika Rottenberg ('04 SOA) collaborate on their exhibit SEVEN a performance and installation that mixes Kessler’s kinetic sculptures with Rottenberg’s absurdist videos, a work that stretches from the urban landscape of New York to the savannahs of Africa.  The exhibit opens at Performa 11 on November 3 with an Artists' Talk on Nov 8, reviewed by Karen Rosenberg.

Mentor and alum Dana Schutz's ('02 SOA) If the Face Had Wheels solo show at the Neuberger Museum of Art is featured as the cover story in Art in America by Daniel Belasco, and showcases her dynamic work.

Alum Matthew Brannon ('99 SOA) is also featured as a cover story, interviewed by Steel Stillman.

Stephen Maine reviews alumna Sara Greenberger Rafferty's ('05 SOA) show Remote at the Rachel Uffner Gallery, a series of reimagined photo stills of actors and comedians.
