Theatre PhD Program

The doctoral program in theatre history, literature, and theory is offered through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS). It leads to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and is designed for students who wish to prepare for academic careers as well as careers in dramaturgy or criticism. Applicants must apply for admission to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
