He is the author of All the Sad Young Literary Men and the translator of Voices from Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexievich; It's No Good by Kirill Medvedev; and (with Anna Summers) There Once Lived a Woman Who Tried to Kill Her Neighbor's Baby by Ludmilla Petrushevskaya.
