PROJECT NIM, SHORTLISTED FOR THIS YEAR'S OSCARS, HAS MORE GOOD NEWS

The Critics’ Choice Awards have nominated Project Nim, co-produced by Maureen Ryan (’92), for Best Documentary Feature.

Geoffrey Quan (’08) was Production Coordinator on the film, Markus Kirschner (’09) was Production Designer, and Jean-Marceau Secheret (4th year Producing) and Andrew Hauser (4th year Producing) were production interns.

Project Nim is on the short list for Best Documentary, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and has also been nominated for three Cinema Eye Honors.

The film was nominated for Best Documentary at the Orange British Academy Film Awards. The awards take place on Sunday, February 12th, at the Royal Opera House in London, at a ceremony hosted by Stephen Fry. Project Nim has also been nominated by the Directors Guild of America for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary.
