The Film Program presents a screening of the Academy Award nominated documentary PARADISE LOST 3: Purgatory with a Q&A with Director Bruce Sinofsky, moderated by Andy Bienen and Maureen Ryan. Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory, is the third and final installation of the Paradise Lost Trilogy, by filmmakers Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky. The powerful and riveting documentary chronicles the lives of the West Memphis 3, three men wrongfully convicted of murdering three young boys in Arkansas. They were released when DNA evidence proved their inno- cence after nearly 20 years of incarceration. Recently the film won Best Documentary by the National Board of Review.
