WRITING | Nonfiction Dialogues
Nonfiction Dialogues is a student-initiated evening series in which Writing Professor Lis Harris interviews notable nonfiction writers about their work and careers.
Born in north India in 1969, he is the author of An End to Suffering: the Buddha in the World, Temptations of the West: How to Be Modern in India, Pakistan, Tibet, and Beyond, and the novel The Romantics (which won the Los Angeles Times's Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction) and is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books. His next book, The Revolt Against the West will be published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in August 2012.
