New Student Orientation Begins Monday August 27

Orientation begins Monday, August 27 to welcome new students to Columbia University School of the Arts. Faculty, staff and current students will share information about the School, the programs, as well as life on campus and around New York City.


Monday, August 27
Film: MFA and MA Programs: Dodge Hall, 5th Floor, 9:30am - 5pm
Welcome Reception, Dodge Hall Plaza, 5 - 7pm


Wednesday, August 29
Theatre Arts: Schapiro Theatre (605 W115 St, basement) 10am- 1pm
(Aug 30, Aug 31 - Sept 4: Collaboration Weekend Rehearsal, Program Meeting, Collaboration Performance and Welcome Reception)

Visual Arts (Part 1): LeRoy Neiman Gallery (Dodge Hall), 9 am - 3 pm

Writing: Dodge Hall, 4th floor, 2 - 6pm
Welcome Reception, Dodge Hall Lobby, 6 - 9 pm,

 
Thursday, August 30
School of the Arts Program-wide Orientation: Miller Theatre, 9:30am - 1:30pm
Lunch reception to follow, Dodge Hall Plaza

 
Friday, August 31
Visual Arts (Part 2): Manhattanville Campus, Prentis Hall, 9am - 3pm
Welcome Reception, Havana Central, 6pm-8pm
