Four of 40 Plays Chosen for Samuel French Festival by Theatre Arts Playwrights

Four of the 40 plays selected for the 36th Annual Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival are by Columbia University School of the Arts Theatre Arts Program students, Samuel French announced. Plays were selected from over 1,000 submissions from producing companies, playwriting workshops and University theatre programs.

The festival will play July 19-24 at The Lion Theatre in New York. All plays are presented in a series of programs, and standouts from each night advance to the finals. From all those selected for the finals, six are published and licensed by Samuel French.

The School of the Arts Theatre Arts Program plays chosen are:
