Professor Annette Insdorf to Premiere New TV Series on WNYC Life

Film Professor Annette Insdorf will premiere her series Reel Pieces with Annette Insdorf on WNYC LIFE Channel 25 on October 28th at 8:30PM. The series based on the 92nd Street Y program that Professor Insdorf has run for 30 years. The program features Professor Insdorf interviewing filmmakers and actors of note - the first episode features an interview with Birdman cast members Zach Galifianakas, Emma Stone, and Edward Norton shortly before their 2014 Best Picture win.

Other interviews will include Al Pacino and Barry Levinson (The Humbling); Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything); Sir Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson (Learning to Drive); Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game); the cast of 2015 Best Picture Oscar-winner Spotlight – Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Stanley Tucci, Brian D’Arcy James, with director Tom McCarthy; Isabella Rossellini and director David O. Russell (Joy); Alan Rickman (A Little Chaos); Michael Moore (Where to Invade Next); and Ethan Hawke and New York piano teacher/concert pianist Seymour Bernstein (the subject of Hawke’s documentary Seymour: An Introduction).

The series will air on Fridays until the end of December.
