Poland has developed one of the most vital postwar national cinemas, thanks to the Lodz Film School—which trained directors such as Wajda, Polanski, Zanussi, and Kieslowski. Explores the visual richness, political complexity, and moral investigation of films including "Ashes and Diamonds," "Camouflage," "Knife in the Water," and "The Decalogue."
