FILM MFA: Introduction to Film Studies

The goal of this course is to teach students the fundamentals of film history and film analysis. We'll look at the broad outlines of the medium's development, covering several major films, creators, and movements from the silent era to the present day, and we'll study some of the most influential schools of thought in film criticism and film theory.
