Annette Insdorf

Using films including "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," "The Right Stuff," "Quills," "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and "Henry and June," explores how Kaufman is a visual stylist as well as a literate adapter of novels, and how his films depict the complex interactions between the individual body and the social landscape.
