Silent Matinees: Cinema of Attractions

Silent Matinees: Cinema of Attractions
Presented by Vito Adriaensens, Film
January 26th, 2016, 12 pm
Dodge Hall, Room 511

Professor Vito Adriaensens presents a five-part silent cinema matinee series with live music by Belgian jazz musician Adriaan Campo and friends.

This first installment is an early cinema medley with a romantic twist, presenting you with short films from 1891 to 1909 full of burly men, cabbage patch babies, sassy ankles, living statues, pipe dreams, tunnel kisses, and plenty more attractions!
This event is presented as part of the Spring 2017 season of Public Programs. To learn more about upcoming events, view our online calendar and sign up for our mailing list.
