Student Group Spotlight: CA/T (Columbia Artists/Teachers)
Periodically, we’ll be spotlighting various student organizations within Columbia’s graduate Writing Program. For this edition, we spoke with CA/T, a group that enables students in the Writing Program to teach writing classes in local high schools, at Columbia, and beyond.
Geoffrey O’Brien is the author of sixteen books, including six collections of poetry, the most recent being Early Autumn. His prose books include The Phantom Empire, Sonata for Jukebox and Stolen Glimpses, Captive Shadows: Writing on Film 2002-2012. O'Brien contributes frequently to The New York Review of Books on subjects including film, opera, jazz and popular music, and poetry, and to other publications including Film Comment and Bookforum. He is editor-in-chief of The Library of America.
