301: General Purpose Lab
The General Purpose Lab is open to all School of the Arts students. Below is a list of software and hardware available at the lab. The lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hardware:

  • 16 Dual 3.0Ghz Quad-core Intel Xeon Mac Pros
  • High volume laser printer
  • DVD Duplicator
  • Data/Video projector and large screen

Software:
Latest software from Apple, Adobe, Avid and others, including Final Cut Studio 3; Adobe Creative Suite 5; Avid Media Composer 5; Microsoft Office; Final Draft, EP Budgeting and Scheduling, Showbiz Budgeting and Scheduling, Logic and Toast Titanium, among others.

Raoul: Advanced Film Lab
The Film Editing Lab is open to second-year (and above) Film students only. It can be used for color-correction and sound editing, by reservation only. Below is a list of software and hardware available at the lab. The lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Sound Editing station with ProTools, Logic, mixer, & control surface
  • AJA IOHD, Blackmagic DeckLink HD Pro, Sony Betacam SP deck and 26" Panasonic Color-correction monitor, Tangent Wave Color Control Surface

503: Thesis and Non-Thesis Editing Room

The Film Editing Lab is open to Thesis Film students only. It can be used for color-correction and sound editing, by reservation only. Below is a list of software and hardware available at the lab. The lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Access to a 48 Terabyte Xsan for thesis and non-Thesis work
  • 9 workstations: Dual 3.0Ghz Quad-core Intel Xeon Mac Pros with dual 23" & 30" monitors
  • Panasonic DVCPRO HD deck
  • Blackmagic DeckLink HD Pro, 2 Panasonic Color-correction quality LCD monitor, 2 Tangent Wave Color Control Surfaces

Software:
