Zohra Saed

Zohra Saed is a Distinguished Lecturer at the Macaulay Honors College in The City University of New York. She is the co-editor of One Story, Thirty Stories: An Anthology of Contemporary Afghan American Literature (2010) and the editor of Langston Hughes in Turkestan, 1932-1933: Notebooks, Photos, and Poems (2015), which was published in the Lost & Found initiative at the Center for Humanities of the CUNY Graduate Center. She is a 2023-24 Schomburg Scholar in Residence where she is working on a book manuscript about Langston Hughes’s trip to Soviet Central Asia in the 1930s. Zohra is Faculty Editor at Lost & Found, The CUNY Poetic Documents Initiative at The Center for Humanities, and co-founding editor, with Robert Booras, of UpSet Press.
