Diana Palermo

Diana Palermo is an artist and educator concerned with the relationship between photography, poetry, and queer experience. A close examination of materiality and metaphor is folded into the artist's practice. The artist’s work has been exhibited and featured globally through performances, exhibitions, and publications most notably through the Newark Museum, Montclair Art Museum, International Print Center of NY, Huxley-Parlour, Fuller Rosen Gallery, Artforum, and The Pattern Base. The artist holds a BFA in material studies with a concentration in fiber media from the University of the Arts, an MA in Art Education from Kean University, and an MFA in photography from Columbia University.
