Aimee Bender is the author of 3 books: The Girl in the Flammable Skirt, An Invisible Sign of My Own, and Willful Creatures. Her short fiction has been published in Granta, Harper's, the Paris Review, McSweeney's, Tin House, GQ, Best American Non-Required Reading, the Anchor Book of New American Short Stories, the Ecco Anthology of Contemporary American Short Fiction, and many more, as well as heard on PRI's "This American Life". She lives in Los Angeles and teaches at USC.
