Adam Davidson to Direct New Fox Pilot

Adam Davidson ’91, has been tapped to direct the pilot for the potential Fox series Recon. The hourlong drama, created by Vampire Diaries writer/producer Caroline Dries, follows an FBI agent as she infiltrates a suspected terrorist family. The episode is in contention for Fox’s 2016-17 season.

Davidson has numerous episodic directing credits including Community, Hell on Wheels, Flesh and Bone and, most recently, Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life. He also won a Best Live Action Short Oscar for his film The Lunch Date, made during his time as a Columbia Student. The Lunch Date also won the Student Academy Award and the Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or for Best Short Film at the time of its release in 1989.
